Compare like with like

Separate powders, drinks and capsules, then read the actual label quantity and other ingredients. Package size and serving count answer different questions. Do not compare a scoop with a gram unless the label gives the conversion.

Read research quality

Study funding, study quality, measured outcomes and follow-up all affect confidence. A review can report an overall pattern while also identifying reasons why the pattern should not be treated as a reliable product promise.

Keep price separate from benefit

Price per gram is a transparent arithmetic measure, not a benefit score. A less expensive product per unit is not automatically more appropriate. The calculator makes no determination that a supplement is needed.

A chemical record identifies a reference, a study reports a defined investigation, and a product label concerns a specific medicine. A supplier catalogue is not clinical evidence.
